Ambassador of El Salvador to Belize visits Minister of Transport and NEMO in Belmopan Office

By BBN Staff: Minister of Transport and National Emergency Management, Edmond Castro was visited in his Belmopan Office this afternoon by Ambassador of El Salvador to Belize, H.E Luis Carabantes Palacios.

With El Salvador’s Presidential Elections coming up on February 3, 2019, Castro said he and his ministry are pleased to be able to facilitate the Salvadoran community in Belize, through their embassy, with the required permits to transport their people back home to vote in the elections.

Castro thanked the Ambassador for his visit and reassured him and his staff of the ministry and government’s full support and cooperation in matters that are mutually beneficial to our two nations, our governments and our people.
