By BBN Staff: Police investigated the validity of an email sent to BBN on Thursday, in which the sender claimed to be seeking the reward for information leading to the discovery of Anisha “Anny” Young.
The email claimed Young may be alive and being held against her will but provided no further information other than a set of coordinates. BBN had shared the email with police after receiving it and police investigated the coordinates, which were that of a location in Corozal.
The coordinates, however, turned up no leads into Young’s disappearance. The family has offered a reward for any information leading to the discovery of what they presume would be her remains to bring closure to the family.
