Ambassadors Present Letters of Credence at Belize House

By BBN Staff:  According to a release from the Government of Belize, H.E. Sir Colville Young received letters of credence from several ambassadors this morning at the Belize House.

H.E. Mr. Samir Nmeir, Ambassador of Lebanon; H.E. Mr. Librado Augusto Orozco Zapata, Ambassador of Peru; and H.E. Mr. Gerardo Antonio Argote, Ambassador of Venezuela were the ambassadors that met with the Governor General. The High Commissioner of Canada to Belize, H.E. Mrs. Rita Rudaitis-Renauld, also paid a courtesy call on the Governor General.

The Ambassadors all expressed their wishes for strengthened and continued relations with Belize during their tenure.

The Governor General thanked the ambassadors for their friendship and contributions to Belize and extended wishes of peace and prosperity for their countries.
