Bus passenger busted with unlicensed bullets

By BBN Staff: A woman was busted with unlicensed ammunition yesterday afternoon.

She has been identified as Tiffara Leandra Usher, 30.

Just before 2:00 p.m. police were conducting a mobile patrol between mile 55 and 56 on the Philip Goldson highway.

The patrol stopped a bus that was traveling from Corozal to Orange Walk.

During that time, police saw Usher behaving suspiciously, which caused them to search a bag she had in her possession.

During the search, officers discovered a parcel containing five boxes of .9mm rounds of ammunition all to a total of 250 live rounds.

She was arrested and charges of ‘kept ammunition without a gun license’.
