Zitro International robbed at gunpoint

By BBN Staff: Just before midday yesterday, police received reports of a robbery in progress, at Zitro International and Western Union at 9 1/2 miles on the Philip Goldson highway.

Police on the scene spoke to security guard Evan Cain, 25.

Cain told officers that he was on duty when two men entered the institution.

One of the men immediately pulled out a firearm and pointed it at him.

The other assailant pulled out a knife and demanded money from the cashier.

As a result, the cashier handed over a total of $1,800 in different denominations.

Police investigations continue.
