Chinese businesswoman shot during robbery in Dangriga

By BBN Staff: A Chinese businesswoman was shot in her chest today.

She has since been identified as Yan Xue Chen, 33.

Information to BBN is that this afternoon a masked assailant entered her shop situated on George price Drive in Dangriga, Stann Creek.

He then pointed his firearm at her and demanded cash.

While she was handing over the monies, he reportedly fired a single shot at her and then made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The businesswoman was rushed to the hospital.

Her condition remains unknown.
