Man and woman busted with illegal drugs in Corozal town

By BBN Staff: A man and woman have been jointly charged with the offense of drug trafficking.

They are Richard Eagan, 39, and Monique Smith, 29.

Yesterday just before 4:00 p.m., Corozal police conducted a search at Room 9 at a property on 11th Avenue.

That search led to the discovery of a bag containing 1,205 grams of suspected cannabis.

They were both detained and charged.
