Student busted carrying weed in school bag

BBN Staff: A student busted with drugs has been charged with drug trafficking.

He has been identified as Shawn Nolberto.

Yesterday just before midday, police stopped to search a bus he was traveling on near mile 32 of the George Price Highway.

Police decided to search his school bag and inside they found two parcels containing suspected cannabis.

The suspected cannabis was weighed in the presence of Nolberto and amounted to 612 grams.

As a result, he was arrested and charged for drug trafficking.
