Did Salvadoran Ambassador in Belize facilitate transportation for Belizean-Salvadorans to vote in Presidential elections?

Posted: Saturday, February 2, 2019. 9:20 am CST.

">By BBN Staff: Presidential elections in El Salvador will be held this Sunday, February 3, 2019.

Four Presidential candidates belonging to different political parties are lined up to head the Central American country when one of them wins the general elections on Sunday.

Today, a video was widely circulated on social media that showed the Salvadoran Ambassador to Belize, Luis Caravantes in Belmopan City seeing buses shuttled off to El Salvador.

The video was captured by a man who questioned Caravantes on the reasons for sending five buses of Salvadorans to vote and denying some other Salvadorans the transportation to go to their country to vote in the election.

The man then accuses Caravantes of only facilitating transport for supporters of the Farabundo Martí National Liberation Front (FMNL) party.
