Hit and run reported in Corozal

BBN Staff: Up north police are investigating a fatal case of hit and run.

Sometime around 12:20 a.m. today Corozal police were called to an area between miles 78 and 79 near on the Philip Goldson Highway.

There, they observed the body of a Hispanic man. He was motionless with severe head and body injuries.

He is yet to be identified.

His damaged bicycle was located not too far from his body. However, the vehicle which struck him was nowhere to be found.

The public is asked to provide information that may lead to an arrest nof the culprit and the name of the deceased.
