Man, 50, sent to prison for raping 3-year-old-boy

By BBN Staff: A man is behind bars after sexually violating a three-year-old child. That man is fifty years old Alfonso Perez of a Handyside Street address in Belize City.

The mother of the child told authorities that on Thursday night Perez was caught forcing the child to perform oral sex on him.

When he was busted, Perez reportedly ran away.

However, yesterday he was brought to court before Magistrate Emerson Banner to answer to a charge of rape.

Due to the nature of the offence, he was remanded to prison until April 4.
