Maya Island Air flight in Corozal runs off runway

BBN Staff: This morning, just as a flight from Maya Island Air was about to take off from the airstrip in Corozal, it experienced a blow out on one of its tires.

The plane reportedly ran off the runway and came to a halt at the side of the runway.

At this time, we are unsure of any injured passengers.

A representative from Maya Island Air informed BBN that they will issue a statement on the incident later today.
