By BBN Staff: A Guatemalan man who was refused entry into Belize is in deep trouble.
After Customs Officials denied him entry into Belize, he reportedly crossed back to the Guatemalan side of the western border and opened fire at the Customs building.
This reportedly happened around 2:30 this morning.
Police say that the shooter and another man traveled to the border on a motorbike.
Police have not yet released his identity but say that he resides in Melchor and was charged with firearm related offenses in Belize in 2016.
At this time, Belizean authorities are in communication with their Guatemalan counterparts to bring him to justice.
