Reward offered for culprit who shot police officer

BBN Staff: The Belize Police Department with the assistance of business owners is offering a $2,000 reward for anyone with information leading to the apprehension of the culprit who shot a police officer yesterday in Belize City.

The culprit, Ulide Allen is wanted by authorities for shooting the police officer yesterday afternoon on Coney Drive.

Anyone wishing to share any information can call the nearest police station at 911 or inbox the Commissioner of Police (COMPOL), Chester Williams on Facebook.

All information received will be kept strictly confidential.

“Together let’s stand against those who wish to have our law abiding citizens living in fear,” COMPOL Williams said on a Facebook post.
