$7K reward offered for arrest of suspects that killed Masaki Yanaai

BBN Staff: Chester Williams, the Commissioner of Police (COMPOL) today informed that the Belize Police Department in collaboration with the business community is offering a $7,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the culprits accused of killing nineteen-year-old Masaki Yanaai.

Yanaai was murdered yesterday evening at his home in Buttonwood Bay, Belize City.

When Yanaai and his family arrived at home, they were attacked by 3 masked men who shot Masaki and his father, Takaya.

Masaki died shortly thereafter.

Williams says that anyone who wishes to offer any information can inbox or contact him at 610-5716.

The Compol assures that the information will be kept strictly confidential.
