Sacred Heart to inaugurate new Junior College building

BBN Staff: Sacred Heart Junior College (SHJC) in San Ignacio town is preparing to inaugurate its new Junior College building.

The new Junior College building will serve as classrooms for the Junior College students.

Sacred Heart Junior College opened its doors to students aiming at earning an Associate of Arts degree in September, 1999.

Since 2001 to 2018, SHJC has a total of 8 cohorts totaling 1841 Graduates.

Program currently being offered include: Associate Degree Programs: Business,Accounting, Tourism Management ,Early Childhood ,Primary Education, General Studies, Biology ,Chemistry Biology & Chemistry ,Natural Resource Management ,Computer Technician.

Certificates: Early Childhood, Primary Education, Tour Guiding, Pre-College ,Tertiary Education

The mission of SHJC, guided by the Catholic ethos, is to offer quality education through relevant, dynamic and innovative programs and courses that foster and strengthen the spiritual, intellectual, cultural, physical, and psychological aspects of the human being thus creating a conducive environment for catalysts of positive change.

The inauguration ceremony will be held on Friday, February 15, 2019 at 10:00 a.m.
