Dwayne Cummings laid to rest

BBN Staff: Today a funeral ceremony is being held for athlete and student, Dwayne Cummings.

The event is currently underway at the St. Peter’s Anglican Church in Orange Walk Town.

The church is packed to capacity with friends, family, students and members of the Orange Walk community.

Last Saturday while making his way home after a basketball game, Cummings was shot in his head.

He died in the spot in the San Lorenzo area of town.

Several persons have been detained and released in connection with his murder.

And so as the perpetrator(s) remains at large, Belize City Councilor, Micah Goodin, has offered a reward for anyone with information that may lead to an arrest.
