By BBN Staff: Guyana’s head coach of their national men’s football team, Michael Johnson, told the media in his country that his team will be ready to take the victory from Belize in the upcoming CONCACAF Gold Cup qualifier game scheduled for March 23.
Johnson shared two of his key strategic points with the media, the first being home court support, stressing how important it is to host
the game at a venue that has the largest capacity to rally as much support as they can behind their team.
The second is knowing their opponents, and he stressed that he has taken the time to study Belize’s national team to formulate the best
strategy to beat them.
“Very, very good in transition. Very good at defending and breaking at quick speed, so we got to be ready for it. Analytically we’re
preparing for it now, we are making sure we leave no stone un-turned. And we will be ready for the game,” Johnson said.
