National Student Union of Belize invites students for Peace March

Dear secondary and tertiary institutions;

This coming Monday the 18th of February, 2019, the University of Belize (Belmopan campus) is holding a peace march starting at the parking lot of our central campus at 2pm.

Invited guests will do presentations on the importance of having a peaceful environment to provide a safe and nurturing environment for our children and students spanning all levels and backgrounds.

After the presentations, a march to the steps of the National Assembly building will commence.

The various clubs at the University will be involved to show solidarity which expands beyond the bounds of our National University`s central campus. We extend this invitation to all academic levels to be a part of this event as it is of national importance.

Thus, we urge all academic institutions in the area to notify their students to participate in the march as it will also foster student academic and social growth.
