BBN Staff: Last Thursday we reported an armed robbery at Kum Hua Shop on Daly Street in Belize City.

Police have since arrested two men believed to be the robbers.

They are Jamar “Hungry” Neal, 22, and Kerun Miguel, 21.

With the charge of robbery with a firearm, they both appeared before Magistrate Khadeen Palmer.

When she asked why they should receive bail, they both claimed police abuse and said they had children they needed to care for.

Despite their claims, they were denied bail and remanded to prison until April 24, 2019.
