Notice: Phone service interruption for Government departments and Ministries

By BBN Staff: The Ministry of Finance, Assets, and Utilities Management Unit inform all ministries and departments in Belmopan that Belize Telemedia Limited (BTL) will interrupt telephone services on Friday, February 22, 2019, through to Sunday, February 24, 2019.

The dates are as follows:

* Friday, February 22nd, 12:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.

* Saturday, February 23^rd, 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.

* Sunday, February 24th, 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.

This interruption is necessary to allow BTL to perform a system switch to further improve the performance of the current C20 telephone system.

Ministries and departments are asked to have two (2) persons available to provide BTL and CITO technicians access to the offices.
