Belize Youth Movement endorses new youth leaders

By BBN Staff: On Sunday, February 24, the Belize Youth Movement (BYM), the Youth arm of the People’s United Party (PUP) held an endorsement convention.

The convention was held at Independence Hall in Belize city.

Members sworn in include President: Karim Adle, Vice President: Vanessa Jones, Treasurer: Bevin Cal, Chief of Staff: Erick Glenn, Secretary: Chris Cansino and Assistant Secretary: Carolyn Jang.

The BYM also sworn in representatives for East of Belize: Brittany and Chelsea Galvez, West: Janine Godoy and Sanie Cal, South: Cindy Millian and North: Dilan Casanova.

The key note address was delivered by area representative for Caribbean Shores, Kareem Musa.

In his address, Adle invited young Belizeans to join the BYM and let their voices be heard.

“I pledge to you all today, that my doors are always open, I am willing to work with anyone who shares our common goal of youth empowerment and victory for our party! During my tenure, I will work wholeheartedly with all members of the 31 constituencies to ensure that our BYM membership increases,” Adle asserted.

Adle further thanked his family and his party for their support.

“Let us remember that we are the future Ministers of government, we are the future CEO’s, we are the future building blocks of our nation,” Adle added.

The team was sworn in by PUP Party chairman, Henry Charles Usher.
