Fire in Punta Gorda, child reportedly injured

A house in Punta Gorda, Toledo was affected by fire tonight. A woman and a child were reported to be inside the house at the time of the incident. The child received injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Eyewitnesses tell BBN that the house was not extensively damaged.

BBN could not confirm if this fire was an act of arson or if it is connected to the wave of violence that has affected the Punta Gorda community in the last few days.
