Albert Valentine charged for aggravated assault

BBN Staff: Albert Valentine was charged yesterday for ‘aggravated assault’, ‘kept firearm without a gun license’, ‘kept ammunition without a gun license’ and ‘discharged firearm in public’.

Police reports indicate that on Monday morning, Valentine and Adwane Usher were riding their bicycles in the Central Park area in Punta Gorda town when they both fired shots at someone.

Authorities say that Valentine and Usher both had firearms but when Usher pulled out his firearm it snapped.

Valentine, however, fired three shots toward the person but missed.

Authorities recovered the guns of both men.
