Lionel Castillo charged for unlicensed firearm

BBN Staff: Lionel Castillo has been charged for possession of an unlicensed firearm.

According to police reports, on Sunday, February 24, police were on mobile patrol in Roaring Creek, Cayo when cops stopped a bus to conduct a search.

When the bus stopped, a man opened the back door of the bus and exited.

The man identified as Lionel Castillo, told police that he had a .9mm gun that belongs to the security company he works for.

Castillo handed over the .9mm gun and 15 live rounds of ammo.

Authorities detained and charged Castillo.
