By BBN Staff:Pre-school students and teachers across Belize are today parading in celebration of the official launch of Child Stimulation Month.
Since 1984, Belizean educators have been celebrating Child Stimulation Month in the month of March. The objective is to bring awareness to the importance of early childhood development and education.
The theme for this year’s Child Stimulation Month is ‘Hug me, Listen to me, Read with me, HELP ME GROW!’
Pre-school teachers have prepared a month long of interactive learning activities for children.
Some of the activities include Cultural day, Sports day, Family day, Festival of Arts, visits from Community workers, visit to the Library and visits to the Green Iguana Conservation project.
Teachers, parents and students are anticipating these fun activities.
