Police: Missing woman found dead with chop and stab wounds

By BBN Staff: Police have issued an official report on a missing teen who was found dead.

The report revealed that last Thursday Joan Gabourel, 18, was reported missing.

However, yesterday afternoon a search party located her body in a cane field off the Valley of Peace road in Cayo.

Her body was transported to the Ladyville Medical College where a post mortem examination revealed that she had been stabbed to death.

The report said, she had, “multiple stab wounds to the chest, chop wound to the head and blunt force trauma to the face.”

Police are investigating.
