Two suspects detained in connection with Joan Gabourel murder

By BBN Staff:  Today, authorities informed that they detained two suspects in connection with the murder of 18-year-old Joan Gabourel.

Gabourel was reported missing on Thursday, February 28.

On Saturday afternoon, a search party found her nude body with several chop wounds in a cane field in Valley of Peace, Cayo.

A post mortem examination was conducted which revealed that she died as a result of stab wounds and blunt force trauma.

Investigations are on going.
