BNTU to host ICJ forum for educators

BBN Staff: On Friday, March 9, educators from across Belize will gather at the University of Belize auditorium to listen to different perspectives on taking Guatemala’s claim on Belize’s territory to the International Court of Justice for final resolution.

The Belize National Teachers Union (BNTU) is hosting the forum in an effort to inform and educate teachers.

BNTU informs that presentations will also include history of the Guatemalan claim.

The event will commence at 9:00 a.m.

BNTU says that the purpose of the ICJ forum is to ensure an empowered vote on the April 10, 2019.
