Clement Mangar shot in Belmopan City

BBN Staff:Authorities are investigating a shooting incident that occurred last night in Belmopan.

Clement Mangar, 56, was reportedly walking home and when he reached the corner of Tul Street and Maya Mopan Extension, a man called his name.

Mangar reportedly turned to the person and he was shot to the chest and buttocks.

Members of the Belmopan PUP committee have condemned the incident since Mangar is an activist and a Marshall of the PUP.

Mangar was also seen in a video circulating on social media where residents blocked the demolition of a home in Belmopan last week.

Investigations continue.
