Woman, 86, dies after being hit by a car in Belize City

By BBN Staff: Eighty-six-year-old Gudelia Estevez died yesterday morning. 

Estevez and her 8-year-old grandson were knocked down on February 22, 2019.

Estevez was taking her grandson to school when they were hit by a pick-up truck at the corner of Amara Avenue and Dean Street in Belize City.

The family says that Estevez was taken to the hospital immediately after the accident for medical treatment and the doctors released her and said that she was fine.

A post mortem examination is scheduled for today.
