The FFB reminds the public that acts of violence within the sport will not be tolerated.
“Following the incident between the University of Belize and Galen University students on Monday March 5, 2019, the Football Federation of Belize has decided to suspend both players involved effective immediately,” the FFB says.
The two players, Norman Anderson and Jarret Davis, will face six months suspension from all national team activities.
FFB President, Sergio Chuc and the FFB also commended Kerry Gonzalez for his exemplary conduct during the altercation.
The federation reminds that sportsmanship and respect for teammates, opponents and officials of the game in all capacities; is an integral part of all sports.
