Mason’s associate taking the rap, will he walk a freeman?

BBN Staff: Attorney Dickie Bradley is questioning why the prosecution is still pursuing its murder trial against William “Danny” Mason after one of his co-accused reportedly confessed to the crime.

Bradley, in an interview with Channel 5, said that one of Mason’s co-accused admitted to authorities that he was the one that beheaded Pastor Llewellyn Lucas in 2016. Bradley did not say which of the co-accused admitted to the crime.

“The person that committed the murder, the horrible murder, has said in open court that ‘I am the one that did it’, so why do
you have everybody else locked up?” Bradley said.

Bradley is in the process of being contracted to represent Mason at the trial, which began in Belmopan this week. Mason stands accused
along with Ashton Vanegas, Keron Fernandez, Terrence Fernandez, and Ernest Castillo.
