Woman, 70, shot in Ladyville

BBN Staff: Last night a woman was shot in Ladyville, Belize.

She has been identified as Margaret Elijio, 70.

Information to BBN is that she was at her home on Marage Road with her son, daughter and two grandchildren when a man opened gunfire at the house.

One of the bullets entered her plycem home and caught her in her shoulder.

She was transported to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital where her condition remains unknown.
