Burrell Boom woman busted with weed in purse at border

By BBN Staff: A woman from Burrell Boom village, Belize was busted yesterday evening with weed in her purse.

Police and Customs personnel at the Belize Northern Border intercepted Claudette Haylock, 44, who had concealed in her purse just over one pound of suspected cannabis.

Police formally arrested and charged Haylock for the offense of ‘drug trafficking’.
