House destroyed by fire in Belize City

By BBN Staff: A house and all its contents were destroyed by fire last night in Belize city.

Melanie Adolphus, 39, of Fabers road, reported that she was on the veranda of her 16 x 24 feet plycem house when she saw smoke emerging from the ceiling.

 The house was completely destroyed by the fire.

 The value has not yet been ascertained.

Police are investigating.
