By BBN Staff: Derwin Jones, 27, who is charged with the murder of 74-year-old Richard Foster has been additionally charged with aggravated burglary with respect to breaking into Foster’s home.
Jones appeared in court yesterday before Senior Magistrate Tricia Pitts-Anderson, and pleaded not guilty to the charge. The Senior Magistrate remanded him to the Belize Central Prison until May 21, which coincides with the court date of the other persons being charged for breaking into Foster’s home.
The allegations are that Jones along with others broke into Foster’s home located at mile 29 on the George Price Highway and stole several items including a pistol and a shotgun.
Jones is also jointly charged with Andrew Clarke, 26, and Edmond Pascascio, 22, for Foster’s murder.
