Belize to observe World Water Day 2019

BBN Staff: World Water Day is commemorated worldwide on March 22, 2019.

This year’s theme for World Water Day is ‘Leaving no one behind’- an adaptation of the central promise of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. 

Belize is joining in the World Water Day Celebrations with a ‘Water Fair’ which will be held at the San Ignacio Resort Hotel today, March 22, 2019.

The fair is being hosted by the Ministry of Natural Resources and the Department of Natural Resources.

The fair will commence at 9:30 am and end at 3pm.
