Police share minor info on discovered skull

BBN Staff:Police have shared the little information they have gathered about a skull found in the Belize District last Friday.

Assistant Superintendent of Police Alejandro Cowo explained that the skull is that of a male between the ages of 20 and 30 years old. He also noted that examiners did not find any evidence of trauma on the skull, leaving the cause of death still inconclusive at this time.

Cowo said that the investigation is ongoing and that they haven’t ruled anything out, including the possibility that the skull may belong to a missing persons report. Workers from Bacab Eco Park found the skull after a bush fire in the area.
