Minor knocked off bicycle and dies

="text-decoration: underline;">By BBN Staff: Police in southern Belize are investigating a fatal traffic accident.

Police have confirmed that on Saturday night, Jose Marquez, 16, was riding his bicycle near mile 20 of the Southern Highway.

That was when he was knocked down by a Honda vehicle driven at the time by William Burk.

Marquez sustained head and body injuries and died on the spot.

Police are investigating.
