2 Guatemalans busted with illegal firearm in Benque Viejo

BBN Staff: Police have arrested and charged two Guatemalan nationals for the crime of kept unlicensed firearm and ammunition.

Around 6:35 yesterday morning, police were conducting searches on a farm in Succotz, Cayo and found a brown 16-gauge shotgun with serial No.230739 and (1) burgundy Aguila brand 16 gauge cartridge.

Present at the time of the search were Guatemalan nationals, Brayant Nolberto Ramirez, 20, and Libny Janeth Saquic Aldana, 18.

Both were arrested and charged.
