Police seize contraband and illegal firearm in Orange Walk

By BBN Staff: This morning, officers conducted a joint police operation and seized (128) cases of can beers, (2) cases of large coke, and (1) outboard motor in San Victor, Orange Walk.

Authorities also found a 16-gauge shotgun and 16 cartridges in an abandoned house.

One person is detained pending investigation for the contraband goods.

The 16-gauge shotgun and 16 cartridges were labeled and deposited as found property.

 Investigation continues.
