Ministry of National Security warns of false reports about Guatemalan troops

BBN Staff: Breaking Belize News issued a statement yesterday informing all readers that a screenshot of an alleged article using the BBN format circulating on social media was fake.

“We would like to notify our readers that BBN disassociates itself from the below post as it was never made by us. This is a fake and irresponsible post and someone is using our name and reputation to spread mischief on social media. Kindly ignore the post,” the statement said.

Today, the Ministry of National Security issued a release informing the public that the article regarding the massing of Guatemalan Military along the western border is false.

The Ministry and BBN advises the public to disregard this fake news.
