Man, 22, shot on cheek in Belize City

BBN Staff: Police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred last night in Belize City.

Oswald Warrior, 22,  of Carmelita, Orange Walk told police that he was walking on Sarstoon Street when a man approached him and shot him on his cheek.

Warrior was transported to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital for medical attention.

He is listed in a stable condition.

Police are investigating.
