By BBN Staff: Last night villagers in Crooked Tree attended a dance after the Tilapia Festival, however, that dance ended badly for one man.
That is because according to eyewitness accounts, he was “beaten, robbed and left for dead.”
During this ordeal, spectators reportedly turned a blind eye and refused to offer any assistance to the bleeding man.
Kiesha Wade, a good Samaritan, sprang into action to provide assistance.
“This is a damn life that could’ve been anyone,” she wrote to social media. “I had a brother that was left to die cold blooded. You think I can watch someone’s son on the ground bleeding and not do anything?”
She added, “It was late and I would’ve preferred being in my bed but how can I leave someone down there knowing they can be catching their last breath?”
With the assistance of another man she was able to transport the injured man to an ambulance who then rushed him to hospital.
At this time his identity and condition remains unknown.
