By BBN Staff: A father is asking the public’s assistance to raise money to get urgent medical treatment for his son.
Marion Noralez told Breaking Belize News that his son, nine-year-old Imani Noralez, was attending a school fair at Richard Quinn Roman Catholic Primary School in Georgetown when the incident occurred. According to the father, children were being allowed to ride All Terrain Vehicles (ATVs) for a dollar on the fair grounds.
Noralez said that his son was not provided a helmet for protection and ended up crashing into the side of the school building. The child sustained a broken arm, fractured skull and is suffering from internal bleeding in the head. The child is also randomly slipping in and out of consciousness.
Noralez is seeking the public’s support to assist in the recovery of his son. Noralez can be contacted by calling 650-751.
