By BBN Staff: On Friday around 7:30 p.m., Belize City Police visited the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital.
There, they saw Kashief Myvett, 26, suffering from a gunshot wound to the palm.
He told police that he was walking on Dolphin Street when shots rang out.
No one has since been detained as investigations remain open.
Police say they have no leads and could not confirm if Myvett was known to them.
