By BBN Staff: Belize City police are investigating a case of armed robbery.
It occurred sometime around 6 p.m. at the registry office on Treasury Lane.
Cashier, Natalie Peterson, told police that two men entered her office.
One was armed with a firearm and the other was armed with a knife.
Both men demanded cash and proceeded to rob her of a deposit bag containing an undisclosed amount of cash.
Police are investigating.
