By BBN Staff: Armenia villager Carlos Alvarado lost his life on Friday, April 19, when he was struck by lightning.
Carlos’ brother, Cristino, told police that they were at a farm when they noticed it was about to rain.
The men ran to a nearby tree to shelter from the rain when lightning struck Carlos.
He was rushed to the Western Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
