Fire department confirms vehicle was intentionally set on fire

By BBN Staff: Authorities are investigating a vehicle fire that occurred around 5:30 p.m. yesterday in Belize city.

Police were called out to Cleghorn street where they saw a red Chevy pickup truck engulfed in flames.

 Kenroy Pandy was informed that the vehicle was on fire. Pandy informed authorities that the owner of the vehicle is Chris Ramirez who is out of the country.

The fire was extinguished by personnel from the Fire Department, who determined that the vehicle was intentionally set on fire.

Police are investigating.
